A Hard Worker by Elia

To ascend the status of a person, an individual has to have attained a certain degree of moral maturity and social responsibility. This obviously is a matter of the quality of one's mind.

My artwork shows a Maasai woman carrying a heavy load on her head, which is the part of every day life of a Maasai. She looks like she is strong and focused on getting to her destination.

Tove working with colours and interesting back grounds before starting the feature part of my work, the Maasai.

Lion's Love, 2023

The artwork shows a male lion and a lioness together like family.

The male lion tends to and protects and cares for his lioness. It reflects true love which is similar to the love of human beings. The male lion takes the part of a man and the lioness takes the part played by woman.

I am focusing on painting animals at the moment and practicing getting many details in such as the fur so to make the lions look very realistic.

Strong African Women

I got so excited when I chose to draw the picture of my favourite subject, African Women, my culture. I proudly chose to draw the three strong African Women because I feel that I was so lucky to be born as an African Lady.

The painting I drew also shows how African women are caretakers, hard workers, responsible, kind and dreamers. They are determined to fight for their tomorrow because they are the change makers.

Sweet Peacock

Peacock is one of the most beautiful creatures in the world and famous for its feathers as described in this painting.

I love painting pictures which are challenging and that have a lot of details in order for me to learn new techniques.

My favourite subject to paint are birds.

The African Zebra, 2023

The African Zebra is one of the most loved animals all around the world.

This is because of its beauty and unique stripes and is often the face of the parks.

I think zebra is amongst the politest animals in the park as it is very calm and does not disturb other animals. People from all around the world travel to Tanzania for the sake of seeing African zebra, hence this is one of the reasons I am proud of having zebras in Africa.

My favourite part of this painting are the leaves and flowers surrounding the Zebras face.

The Beauty of Kilimanjaro, 2023

This painting describes the beautiful natural resources found in Tanzania.

The mountain is Mt. Kilimanjaro which is the highest snow caped free standing mountain in Africa. There ere also beautiful wild animals represented by the giraffe. This is a poster like painting which brings great memories of being in Tanzania
